It is simply impossible to work that way. He began to look for the reason why this is happening. Of course, everyone understands that the reason is in the cartridge. In order to disassemble the cartridge, it is necessary to open the rubber plug with a flat screwdriver.
The plastic part of the cartridge is removed by itself.
Now we see the insides of the cartridge: retaining washer, spring and ball. It is this ball that is the drill retainer in the cartridge.
But for this he must move freely in his seat. Accumulated dirt and old dried grease do not allow the ball to move freely in my punch. To remove dirt and clean the inside of the cartridge, you need to pull out the ball. To do this, take a punch so that the ball is from below. By pressing on the locking washer we compress the spring and the ball itself falls out onto the table.
After that we take out a fixing washer, a spring and one more laying.
All this is clean and assemble in the reverse order. Grease the ball with grease. The hole where the drill shank is inserted must also be greased. We insert a drill, we check. Everything works great. Spent no more than 30 minutes on all repairs. Now you can safely continue the work you have started around the house.
