To make a chess table, the master used the following

Step One: Chess Board
The basis of the board is plywood. Cut sheet to size. Makes edging from a corner. Next, you need to peel off the white and black tiles from the mosaic. In total, 32 tiles of each color are needed. Then the tile is glued to the base.
Step Two: Case
The case is made of boards, its inner part is divided into two halves by bars. On the opposite sides of the case, openings are cut into which the boxes will be installed.
Step Three: Crates
Slices blanks from plywood. Glues two boxes. Putty, grind and coat the boxes with a polyurethane coating.
Step Four: Build
The metal parts are soaked in citric acid to peel off the coating. Then paints and varnishes. Now fix the hardware and checkerboard on the case.
Step Five: Feet
The master cuts the legs from the board. To give them a certain form, the master made a template. Then he fixed the legs on the table, putty over the cracks, sanded and covered with polyurethane.
Everything is ready, now you can play chess.
