In this article, the Wizard will show us how to make a funny ladybug toy dancing to the sounds of a lambada. Of course, the master put the music on top of the video, but it turned out funny. However, let's see the video.
To make such a toy you will need the following
Tools and materials:
-Plastic heart;
-Motor reducer;
-ZD-glasses (which the master stole in the cinema);
- 3.7V rechargeable battery - 2 pcs;
- Resistor 330 Ohm;
-Light-emitting diode;
-Switch;
-Rigid plastic element (white) for the crank;
-Plastic housing (orange) for mounting the motor;
-Plastic plate (red);
-2 long bolts with nuts and washers;
-7 small bolts with nuts;
-Wire;
-Soldering accessories;
-Super glue;
-Dremel;
-Hair dryer;
-Glue gun;
-Screwdriver;
-Pliers;
Step one: install the motor
The master made this detail from the plastic part of an old printer. It already had a hole for the gear, which is mounted on the motor shaft. The master cut the part to size and mounted on the engine. The toy legs will be attached to this part.
In the heart and the orange box (case) cuts holes. Installs the engine in the housing. I glued the body to the inside of the heart.
Step Two: Axis
Next, you need to install the axis on which the legs will be attached. Two holes are drilled into the heart and bolts are installed.
Step Three: Wiring Diagram
The wiring diagram is simple: a battery, a toggle switch, an engine and an LED with a resistor.
Installs two batteries in the case.
Sets the toggle switch.
To charge the batteries, the wizard mounts the connector.
It remains to install the LED with a 330 Ohm resistor and check the installation.
Step Four: Feet
Now you need to do the legs. For the toy you need two trims with two legs on each. The master makes all the details from the temples of the glasses. The crossbars that will be attached to the axis are made of orange arches. Cuts to size. Drills a hole in the center.
The legs themselves are made of black bow. Cuts to size. Drills a mounting hole on one edge.
Now you need to bend the edges of the transverse planks. The master heats the trims with a hairdryer and gives the desired shape. Then it drills the bent ends of the hole.
Tightens the legs.
Step Five: Leverage
To set the legs in motion, you need to connect them with a crank mounted on the motor shaft. The master makes two levers and fixes one end of the lever to the crank, the second on the transverse bar of the legs mounted on the shaft.
With the last action, the master cuts off the excess part of the bolts.
A dancing ladybug is ready for the joy of children.
