Hello, to all the inhabitants of our sites. Today we will consider the manufacture of quite interesting homemade from the shock absorber. Or rather, the manufacture of a pump from a shock absorber. The homemade product is not copyright, not mine, but belongs to the author of the YouTube channel "Denis Mechanic", you can visit his channel if you wish (the channel is more likely not about homemade products, but about car tricks, life hacks, etc.). Come on, let's not pull.

To make this homemade product, you will need it.

1. Shock Absorber
2. Grinder, welding machine, drill, etc.

Step 1: making





























First of all, the shock absorber is disassembled, the upper valve is removed. One must be careful when sawing him with a grinder, he may not sloppily sickly. After that, all unnecessary nonsense is removed from it, the excess part is cut off, the upper valve is put on. The hinge is cut off, there is a video below, if it’s not clear what I’m talking about, you can watch it. A finger from the steering rack is brewed in place of the hinge, this is not necessary (made for beauty and convenience). The washer and nut are cooked on the base of the pipe, the seams are polished. At a distance of 3-4 cm from the upper valve, 3mm holes are drilled with a drill.

That's all the pump is ready. It was called eternal due to the fact that to work out the life of the shock absorber (the life of shock absorbers ranges from 50 to 200 thousand km. For this distance, he makes a lot of fluctuations, it will be impossible to repeat this number, well, if there is no other candidate for the Guinness Book ) It will be unprofitable for someone to do this homemade work, someone will find it easier to buy a new pump, but there will be people who are interested in this article and they will want to do this homemade work. In conventional (oil) shock absorbers, there is no pressure either - there simply oil is driven back and forth through calibrated holes, creating resistance to the piston's movement. And the previous commentator, apparently, did not drill an ordinary, but a gas-oil (combined) shock absorber. There is pressure and oil. And if he drilled the so-called one-pipe (from sports (for real)) cars, then the consequences would be more abrupt !!! There are dozens of atmospheres!)))

Recently, at a construction site, it was necessary to level out the removed construction debris (broken old plaster). The rake was busy (the wife planted the flowers and the latter have been without the cuttings since autumn.))). Understanding that any mention of “it’s possible, I’ll take the rake away”, will cause a flurry of reproaches, such as “How many times did I ask them to repair? !!!”, and they lie far away, taken away in the fall, quickly cooked others for myself ... At the same time - wide non-standard ... Just to do something, take a meter of the 25th corner, weld a piece of 25 water pipes to it in the middle, and then weld and cut off the fittings every eight cm every 5 cm ... I filled it, by the way, with polypropylene 25 -ku, reeling up the hebesh electrical tape and screwing it with screws ...
By the way, after that I wanted to crop to a standard size, but my wife resisted. She said that she would also need meters - it’s convenient to place flower beds at a time in the “plan” level .... I left it like that. Only sharpened the teeth with a cleanup circle.
When I did, I thought about placing it here ... Yes, the work was there - there was no time to photograph ...
... By the way, the topic has something in common with the topic of feather drills ... People who need to think through something, look for something and buy something, of course, will find this occupation meaningless ... AND WILL RIGHT !!! It’s really easier for such people to go and buy a rake ...
But now, there are still people who have “the whole base” at hand, and who along the way, without being distracted too much, can make a rake, a knife, a drill on a tree ... For them (and only for them) this occupation is quite justified! ..
P.S. My wife’s uncle, an old tinsmith, somehow struck me like that ... We arrived in the village to his mother (wife’s grandmother). And she complained that there were no buckets. They froze and rotted .. I got into the car and drove to the nearest town to buy some galvanized buckets ... And Uncle Misha thoughtfully picked up a long piece of galvanized wire from the fence and went to the barn ... We returned somewhere through an hour, together - I with three new buckets, he - with two, curved from galvanized sheet, which, as he knew, was behind the barn ... The trick is that you can’t tell his buckets from ten meters from the bought ones))))
