Hello everyone, today I will tell you how the master did do it yourself Wooden nightstand.
so, let's begin
Tools and materials:
1. The tree
2. Wood glue
3. Grinder
4. Skin
1. This bedside table is built of 100% solid wood. The author used a 6mm beech even in the back and back of the drawer. During the construction process, this slightly upset the author, since such a board is more prone to deformation. However, after setting up several times, the author finally understood how to overcome this problem.
Tree: 25 mm beech
2. Most of the author’s projects begin with this step. All rough lumber had to be strictly machined with a planer, miter saw, planer and table saw. After all these steps, the author finally got some useful boards.
3. There are five main boards in this assembly. The author used Titebond wood glue to put them together.
4. Next, the author cuts dovetails.
5. The author carved a dado in the middle of two side panels.
6.This back panel is 6 mm. The author cuts out poses and polishes.
7. The author used the half-blind dovetail joints to create the front of the box. And most of the material was removed by the router first. Then I manually cut these grooves.
8. Next, the author made the legs for the nightstand on a woodworking machine
9. The author glued his legs and hammered a small key. Then the author used several washers to level the entire piece. Then mark the feet with a pencil.
10. Thoroughly grind the entire piece using a grinding machine
11. The author first applied a little linseed oil to a piece. Then applied three layers of water-based polyurethane. Just do not forget the inside of the nightstand and drawer.
12. The nightstand is over!
I like the way it looks and will look even better when the tree grows old and dark. [/ Center]
