The author of the TeraFox YouTube channel independently produced many braziers and stoves. Among them there are not quite ordinary and simplest options. Each of the products found both positive and negative reviews.
And now the master had another idea in his head, which he decided to start on a piece of paper. Continuing the theme of stoves and barbecues, the author asked a rather interesting question: why not connect them together? That is, not a stationary version of the barbecue grill, but to make something easier and smaller, but also two in one.
From the first draft it became clear that the structure will consist of five main walls and will have the following form:
Further stage - 3d modeling. Playing cards should have turned out to be just right for this, the author planned to figure out for a general idea what would come of it all.
As a result, as it turned out, maps are not the best material for building 3D models. Let's move on to the next option. To do this, from thick colored paper, it was decided to make a model in miniature. To do this, you need to cut out 5 rectangular details, draw future holes and hooks, which, due to the rather small scale, still need to be cut somehow.
In general, in the end it turned out like this, and where it didn’t work out, you can fix it with masking tape.
Now it remains only to assemble all the details in a single design and see what happened.
As you can see, we got a collapsible full-fledged barbecue, but only so far in the paper version. Further, the author began to disassemble and assemble from the same parts the 2nd version of the plan. Patience to cut the hooks was no longer enough, but they were not going to stand by themselves, and here again masking tape came to the rescue.
At this stage, it became clear that the idea itself is quite real, but for this you will have to turn to laser cutting services, since it is not possible to achieve such accuracy of cutting yourself.
And after some time, the order was ready. Now you need to expand everything and put the parts in order.
The thickness of the sheet metal is 3 mm, since if you select a metal with a thickness of less than 3 mm for such a project, then with a high degree of probability such steel will be subject to deformation due to high temperature.
In addition, the master decided to decorate individual details of the barbecue transformer with the logo of his YouTube channel and its name.Moreover, the design is designed so that all the slots and holes carry a certain function and there is nothing superfluous here.
Of course, you can leave the details as they are, or you can clean the whole thing, thereby giving the product a more attractive and aesthetic appearance. Which was decided to do with a brush on the grinder.
After all the parts are cleaned, you can proceed directly to the assembly of the future product. The first step is to assemble the stove.
Two more pentagonal ones had to be added to the five main details, one of them is the bottom of the furnace, the other will serve as a plate. Among other things, these additional parts give rigidity to the entire structure.
The plate rests on top of a pair of rods inserted into triangular openings.
The first version of the transformer furnace is ready.
Such an oven is perfect for cooking in dishes. Also in this design provides a moment for lowering the stove closer to the fire. To do this, move 2 bars to the lower tier like this:
Then you can proceed to the second version of the assembly, but first you need to disassemble the furnace.
To assemble the brazier, now we do not need two 5-coal parts, since the design of the brazier will consist of only five main parts.
The brazier is fully assembled, as you can see here there is nothing complicated. The brazier turned out to be quite stable. It has a slightly unusual appearance, but all the holes and protruding parts are pretty good in harmony with each other.
This brazier-transformer is designed for 6 skewers, for loading it is from one and a half 2 kilograms of meat. The distance from the bottom to the top is 120mm, as practice and reviews of people show, this is the best option. It is also possible to lower the loading compartment down. At the same time, all 4 of its walls will stand on the ground, which will give the grill even greater stability.
This design, perhaps, will perfectly complement the skewer, standing in the upper holes.
Without even assuming it, a bolt with a nut miraculously got into the holes and act as a latch for the skewer.
The downside is that putting the product on a skewer, and then removing it will not be very convenient with hot coals. Of course, if you want, you can come up with something, but so far the author has no ideas on this matter.
Now it remains only to degrease all parts of this barbecue transformer and paint with enamel, of course heat-resistant, withstanding temperatures up to 800 degrees.
Here is such a barbecue in the end it turned out, just handsome. A special carrying case is also provided for carrying. Such a bag is sewn using bag fabric and strong braid.
Well, in conclusion, of course, a little test for clarity, solely to demonstrate operability.
Cooking kebab with vegetables took a short time, on the surface of the meat there were quite a few spices, basil, paprika, so it was not burnt, as it might seem at first, the vegetables confirm this.
Now we transform the brazier into the oven and also test it in practice.
On the stove, you can easily place a kettle, a ladle or a frying pan, as well as a large cauldron or a smaller cauldron.
We kindle a fire and let's cook something, for example, pilaf.
