Probably some of you live in a private house. And an eternal problem arises - how to make a tablet with the name of the street and house number. Customized labels are very expensive, and therefore not all hang them.

Manufacturing process.
So, the author chose material for this homemade product, it will be a pine board. This is the cheapest and most affordable material. He cut out several blanks for letters and a board for the base. On blanks I marked outlines of letters.
Then he cut out all the letters on the band saw, and drilled some elements with pen drills on wood.
Then he simply burned all the letter blanks with a gas burner.
The next step is to remove carbon deposits with a metal brush. This technology is called brushing. The color is something like a wenge tree.
Using two slats as a guide and an inter-letter divider, glues the letters into place.
So far, the sign looks dull, it needs to be varnished. The master used a spray gun, but you can buy an aerosol varnish, or use a brush.
Here is such a bright and beautiful tablet turned out. Now it can be hung on a chain, screwed onto bolts in a hidden or open way. It is up to her master to decide.
As an alternative, I can recommend making stencils of letters and numbers from tin, stick them to the base, and firing. Of course, then the letters will not be voluminous, and the tablet itself will turn out in the "inverse" version - that is, the letters are white and the background is dark. You can also try a very strong degree of firing, then the letters will become a little more voluminous. And then brushing, and varnishing.
