Good day to all. In this article I want to tell you how the author of the Bukhoy Zhuk channel made an irrigation system for watering the garden do it yourself, fast, affordable, not expensive, and most importantly, what will serve such homemade very many years. Of course, you can buy ready-made, because in stores now there is a lot of such good, but store ones are not so high-quality and their service life is much shorter.
And so, what was required by the author for this homemade product.
MATERIALS:
Profile pipe 20 mm by 20 mm;
Screws M 6 (countersunk head);
Nuts and washers;
Rubber washers;
Bends half an inch or just a half inch pipe;
INSTRUMENTS:
Angle grinder with a cutting wheel for metal;
Tap;
Electric drill;
Drill;
Welding machine and electrodes;
Sandpaper;
Screwdriver;
Marker;
And also for personal protection, the author will need glasses and gloves. Well, that’s probably all that is needed. And so, for starters, the author will cut a piece of 60 mm from the profile pipe, but the length in this homemade product is not important, it can be longer, it can be shorter.
After it will process the workpiece with sandpaper.
Then he will take the drive and cut it in half. The author uses the drive because he will make several such homemade products and connect them together in series so that you can water a large area at a time.
After welding pieces of the drive to the profile pipe, as shown in the photo.
If you need to water not a large area, you can simply weld a piece of pipe from one side, and simply plug the second edge.
The next step, the author makes a through hole in the profile pipe with a 5 mm drill.
After one of the holes he drills with a 10 mm drill.
Then she cuts the thread M 6 in a small one, the author advises cutting the thread from a larger hole, this will help if the holes were made a little uneven.
Then the screw is screwed so that the screw cap covers a large hole.
The screw must be screwed almost to the end. After the author installs on it, first a rubber washer.
Then metal, and then presses both washers with a nut.
With the help of this screw, the spraying is regulated, and therefore the area of the irrigation itself.
Homemade ready. And the author is testing it. The photo shows that watering is not even.
And the author bolts a little.
And the result is excellent. The capture of the irrigated area is about four meters on each side. Thus, it is possible to adjust the irrigation area to different water supply pressures.
