This tool is intended for copying a certain angle and transferring it to the workpiece or for drawing parallel lines and is used in many fields of activity, whether it is repair, carpentry or metalwork. The malka consists of three parts: a wooden block-handle, a movable part (the so-called "feather") made of stainless steel and a fastener - a brass tightening nut designed to fix the measured angle. Grooves are present in the “pere” and block, due to the presence of which these elements move relative to each other, which greatly increases the convenience of taking measurements with this device. The metal part (“pen”) of the malki is equipped with two measuring scales with risks - inch (up to 7 ") and metric (up to 200 mm). Length fixtures is 250 mm (the length of the handle is 165 mm), its width is 25 mm. The device allows you to fix any angle in the range from 0 ° to 360 °.
The wooden part of the fixture is polished, the instrument lies pleasantly in the hand and, in general, the quality of its manufacture is at a high level. Of course, now there are digital cameras with displays on display that allow you to get very accurate measurement results, but the price is not an example higher (about 3-4 times), and there are situations when the right battery is not at hand, and work need to execute here and now.
