In this article, the creator of YouTube channel “Creates DIY” will tell you how he made a table - a transformer for a picnic, which easily turns into a basket for products.
This homemade product is not very difficult to perform, and can be made without the use of a power tool.

Manufacturing process.
So, the author acquired several pine boards, and cut them into blanks 500 mm long.
Then, on two boards, he applied symmetrical markings for the side parts of the table. It will be simultaneously the legs of the table and the upper part of the basket handles.
I fixed the workpiece on the workbench, and cut it out according to the marking with an electric jigsaw.
The edges of the slices were carefully sanded with sandpaper manually.
Using the first two parts as a template, transferred their contours to the second pair of planks, and cut out two more blanks.
The master polishes all surfaces with an orbital machine.
Now I fixed a petal grinding nozzle in the screwdriver's chuck, and processed the curly surfaces. Such a nozzle can be made quite simply by reading this article.
Tightens the workpiece with a clamp, and drills a hole for the handle with a pen drill in the upper part.
Transferring contours from the first pair of workpieces, and drill the second.
These are the sidewalls.
On the remaining five planks, the master applies marks for drilling.
The details are processed, the ends are milled with a radius mill, now you can assemble a table. First, the master drills the pilot holes with a countersink drill. Then it pulls together the parts with self-tapping screws. Two halves of the tables are ready.
With the help of a miter box and a hacksaw, he cuts off the required length of a wooden round timber.
Then it cuts it lengthwise into two halves, polishes the details obtained.
Now follows the stage of processing parts with stain and impregnation. It can be further waxed.
The halves of the table join together, installing a fifth board between them. At the basket it will be the bottom.
Then screw four furniture hinges.
Actually, the moment the handles are installed in their places.
The last two pieces will play the role of legs in table mode. Having picked up the height, and cutting off the workpieces, screws them to the central board.
Here is such a small basket turns into a very comfortable table.
