Manufacturing process.
First of all, the master marks out the contours of future blanks, which he cuts from the board.
Now, with the help of a beam saw, he cuts out several planks, and marks the details.
A slot for the movable leg is made in the central plate of the future toy. In addition, elements for the legs are cut out.
This turned out to be the central part, and the legs.
Next, cut-out elements of the face, and both covers.
Then the master manually drills the grooves for dowels, which he made from simple twigs of suitable diameter.
This is how all the necessary details of the case look.
All blanks are sanded with fine sandpaper.
Now dowels are clogged and cut into the slots of the central part.
The first cover is installed.
Next, the master inserts a long dowel in the hole in the lid, this will be the axis for the movable leg. Installs its moving part in place.

Drills a few more holes, sets eyes, glues ears and mouth.

After assembly, it remains to process the edges with a rasp, and sand the toy with sandpaper. For greater durability, the surface can be soaked with linseed oil.
