I have long made device for getting screws, nuts and other parts from hard to reach places.
The design is very simple.
I took an aluminum tube and a round magnet from the tear-off sensor used in burglar alarm systems. I glued a magnet to one end of the tube. The other end of the tube was sharpened and bent in the form of a hook.
Due to the small diameter of the device, it is possible to get parts from magnetic materials from inaccessible places where the hand does not crawl. For this, a magnet is used.
The hook at the end of the tube sometimes helps when non-magnetic parts are pulled out.
Another purpose of the device is that with its help it is possible to determine the material by its magnetic properties.
