In this article, Vladimir Natynchik, author of the YouTube channel of the same name, will demonstrate how do it yourself make a rather unusual lamp.
Actually, we will make our lamp from this beam.
For the independent manufacture of the original LED lamp, we need the following tools and materials:
- timber 100 to 200;
- 4pcs of different light temperatures, 2 panels for 4500 Kelvin and 2 for 6500 Kelvin;
- mounting loops;
- carbines;
- chain;
- sandpaper;
- brush;
- electric wire;
- ;
- or ;

- wrench;
- stiff brush;
- and of course the varnish.
First step - marking of locations 4 ex. At this stage, the author made the necessary marking and outlined the surface of the timber as follows:
Then, using the sides of the marked areas, we drill holes necessary for the installation of LED panels. Moreover, it is necessary to drill at a slight angle, and here is what we ended up with:
Continue on. The next step is to select (with the help of the chisels) the squares marked for the planting of the lamps to make recesses.
All recesses are selected, the contour must be clamped so that everything is more or less even. Now you need to drill a through hole in the center of each marked area. It is necessary for mounting the cable, and besides, these holes will also serve to cool the LED panels.
Next stage - wood burning. The author admits that this is one of his favorite pastimes.
So, we burned the entire beam, now with a metal brush it is necessary to clean off all the soot and soot formed during the firing process.
Next, the resulting workpiece must be covered with wax impregnation.
Then in several layers we cover the part with yacht varnish.
It looks, you see, just great. Now we are waiting for the varnish to dry completely, after which we put the LED panels in their place.
When all panels are installed, it is necessary to turn the beam over to connect the necessary electrician.But before we tackle the electrical component of today's project, it was decided to first screw these mounting loops into the beam, on which the lamp will be mounted to the ceiling.
To make it easier, you can use a wrench.
Next, connect the wires to the LED panels installed in their place.
We also connect a 2-key switch. The first key will include 2 lamps located closer to the center of the structure, we will have 6,500 Kelvin, that is, it will be a cold glow, and the second key will be responsible for turning on the two remaining extreme lamps, we have 4,500 Kelvin each (this is a warm glow) . Accordingly, when both keys are pressed, then all 4 panels will turn on.
Now with the help of carabiners it is necessary to fix the chains.
On the sides of the lamp is empty, as if something is missing, so it was decided to put a butterfly here.
This butterfly is a forging element, more precisely stamping. In the middle of the metal part, you need to drill a hole through which the butterfly will be attached to our lamp.
Now the lamp is completely ready, you can proceed with installation.
The lamp is fully mounted, let's check it. Turn on the first mode:
The first mode, as you recall, is our cold glow. Now turn on the second mode - warm glow:
And now both modes together:
Here is such a lamp in the end. And so this lamp copes with the lighting of the gazebo, of course there is plenty of light.
