Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Frame manufacturing
First of all, we need to make a frame that replaces the body of the engine, which stood on the pump. The author removed the case, left the side parts of the case with bearings, as well as the rotor. For the frame, we need sheet steel, we need to cut two identical parts. To achieve the desired result, the author welded two sheets together and set to work. Cut, drill holes and get two identical parts. As a result, it remains to cut the base from another sheet and weld everything together.
We fasten the pump parts to the frame with screws or with bolts and nuts.
Step Two Coupling
We will manufacture a coupling with which we will connect the pump shaft to the shaft of the grinder. The author honed this detail on a lathe. The component is screwed to the pump shaft, and a nut is used to fasten the grinder shaft, which is welded to the coupling.
Step Three Bulgarian fasteners
We make fasteners for the grinder, here we need a piece of thick steel, drill a hole in it and weld to the base. The grinder will be fastened with a bolt, which is wrapped in a hole for fixing the handle.
Step Four Assembly and testing
We wrap the fittings on the fum tape and connect the pipes to the pump, if desired, use a hose. After that, you can experience homemade work, to start, you may need to fill the pump with water.
Homemade works perfectly, a considerable amount of water is pumped. The design flaw is that not every grinder will be able to work under such a heavy load for a long time.
