Surely each of you painted various surfaces at least once in your life, and used a roller for this.
In this article, the author of the YouTube channel “TOKARKA” will tell you how to facilitate and speed up this process, namely, to make the automatic application of varnish or paint to the surface of the roller.
This homemade product is very easy to manufacture, and can be repeated in a few minutes.

Manufacturing process.
So, the main part of this homemade product will be a stainless steel tube with a diameter of 6 mm. Non-ferrous metal tubes are also suitable, but they have much less rigidity. The author notes a segment of 50 mm.
Then the tube is fixed in a small vice and bent in the shape of the letter U. To avoid a “fracture” of the tube at the bend, you can insert a piece of cable inside it with a thickness slightly less than the inner diameter of the tube. Then the cable is quite simply pulled out.
The workpiece unfolds and a bend is made for the handle perpendicular to the first edge.
Now you need two coins in which you need to drill a hole in the center. First it is drilled with a diameter of 4 mm.
Coins are interconnected by a screw and an M4 nut.
Next, you need to drill two more holes of the same diameter closer to the edges.
All three holes are repeated in the cork from the bottle.
Now the important point is that in order for the 6 mm tube to be firmly fixed between the coins in the central hole, you need to drill them at a small angle with a 6 mm drill.
The excess tube is cut with a hacksaw.
The ends of the tube are filed, metal chips are removed.
But for what the hole was drilled at an angle. When you tighten the screws, the tube warps a little, and it tightly clamps.
Now you can assemble the nozzle.
The roller itself will require a little refinement. The standard handle is removed, and several punctures with an awl are made along the entire length of the roller. Their diameter and quantity depends on the density of the fluid used.
The modified roller is put on the tube, anddevice done!
Now you do not need to dunk the roller in the cuvette, and remove excess paint.
As a working capacity, you can use bottles of 0.5 or 1 liter.
So, the author filled the bottle with parquet varnish, and began surface treatment. The process using this device took several times less time.
To paint horizontal surfaces, simply squeeze the bottle lightly as needed. And if you need to paint the ceiling, or the walls, then you just need to put a small piece of silicone tube on the feed tube so that it reaches the bottom of the tank.
The first time the master filled up too thick varnish, it was necessary to make more holes in the roller. Now he diluted it with a little solvent, and the staining process went even faster and more evenly.
Upon completion of work, he packs the roller in a plastic bag, so it can be stored for several days without the risk of drying.
Rinse the tube thoroughly with solvent.
And in order to remove the remnants of varnish or paint, you can use ordinary toilet paper.
