Everyone playing skibol publicly on the appropriate arcade machines thought about having such a thing at home. You can hone your skills imperceptibly for others, and then surprise everyone. One of the designs of a home scybol is proposed by Instructables under the nickname fungus amungus. Details homemade can be made of cardboard, sheet plastic, plexiglass, thin plywood - this is unprincipled.
The master turned out to have 1/3 inch diameter balls from the bearings, and he decided to make the entire device on a scale of 1: 9 with respect to the arcade machine. He drew the details in Adobe Illustrator, and uploaded the files in two formats: EPS and Svg. The second link contains a file with the TMP extension - it needs to change the extension to SVG after downloading. Files of both formats can be opened both in Inkscape and in Illustrator.
Having printed the templates, the master cuts the cardboard parts using the X-Acto knife. A similar knife is also suitable with interchangeable nozzles, as well as the usual clerical, but it is less convenient. If you decide to use sheet plastic, plexiglass or thin plywood, others will need tools. You can even send files to a laser cutting workshop, they accept both formats - EPS and SVG. Having made the parts, the master first makes the transverse slots in a long strip, which will be the track:
Then bends it in the direction opposite to the one where the slots are made:
And he collects the ramp, connecting the details with hot-melt adhesive:
Then it collects the target in a similar way:
But anyone who has ever played skibol immediately catches the eye that something is missing here. Of course, circular partitions between the holes. Their master makes of disposable paper cups for coffee:
The large ring had to be connected with a bracket for the stapler:
And now the target is assembled:
The master glues a ramp to it, and the home-made home skibol is ready:
Next, the wizard offers the following ideas for finalizing the device:
1. Catapult as in pinball - here he is mistaken, such catapults are not used in skibol.
2. The ramp, narrower than the target, as in some arcade skibols. With such a ramp, getting to the center is easier.
3. Side walls made of plexiglass will allow you to observe the behavior of the ball from the side.
4. The side tray, on which the ball will slide back to the player after falling into the hole - this is often done in the arcade version of the skibol.
5. Or the second ramp located under the first and performing the same function.
