Specifically, the master made this overlay for the iPhone XR, but the same technology can be done for any other smartphone case.

Step one: prepare the solution
First of all, the master kneads an epoxy resin with a hardener according to the instructions. Then he pours it into three glasses and adds white, green and blue dye to each.
Step Two: Fill
The master puts pieces of wood into the mold and fills the mold with resin. The resin can be mixed a little, this will give new shades of color.
To remove air bubbles, the master heats the resin surface with a burner.
Step Three: Cutting
Further, the master cuts the workpiece into two parts and, using a dremel and grinding machines, gives the workpiece the shape of a cover.
Step Four: Grinding, Installation
Now it remains to grind the pad
and stick on the outer wall of the cover.
