After, on a circular saw put the disk at an angle of 45 degrees. Then he took the workpiece and made a couple of cuts in it.

But that’s all, the homemade product is ready.
Setting it up is very simple, just lower the drill into the center of the recess, and slightly turning the drill so that the drill is exactly in the center of the recess.
Well, the homemade product is set up and ready to go. It can be fixed in this position with a clamp or simply held with your hand during work, as the author does.
And she works like that. Suppose you need to make a hole in the pipe exactly in the middle, of course you could pinch the pipe in a vice and make a hole, but in this case the drill can go a little to the side, but this will not happen with this homemade product, it will hold the workpiece exactly in the center of the drill.

Another example, you needed to install a cotter pin on a bolt, and for this you need to make a hole in it, with this device it will not be difficult to do this.
Also, this homemade product can be used in carpentry. The author has a round blank with a diameter of 10 mm, and the master needs to make part of this blank with a diameter of 8 mm.
To do this, he installs the device exactly in the center of the disk, then he sets the workpiece in a homemade product and adjusts the disk so that the tooth height is 2 mm higher than the workpiece.
And slowly, in a circular motion, removes excess material from the workpiece.
