Most people have many weaknesses, but the most vulnerable is their intelligence. In order to somehow rectify this situation, they resort to different methods and techniques that do not actually develop the mind, but only imitate its development. There is a kind of illusion of intelligence.
There is one reliable proven way to diagnose your mental abilities - this is the solution to puzzles.
The problematic construction proposed for consideration comforted the mind first of all to the inhabitants of Africa, and later to the rest of the lovers of breaking their heads.
Tools and materials that were used:
Instruments:

4) eccentric sander;
5) sandpaper;
6) planer-planer;

9) two drills for wood (8 mm and 25 mm);
10) two quick-clamping clamps;
11) electric soldering iron;
12) soldering iron tip.
Materials:
1) pine bar;
2) a wooden ring with an outer diameter of 5 cm and an inner - 3 cm;
3) rope 3 mm thick;
4) the varnish is colorless;
5) foam rubber;
6) masking tape.
Puzzle manufacturing process:
Step 1. Sawing the bar along the fibers.
First, you should process the nonsmooth edges of the wooden workpiece. Then, putting the emphasis on the machine at a distance of 8 mm from the saw blade, saw it, and also skip the bar formed after sawing along the knives of the planer shaft.
Step 2. Sawing off the ends of the rail.
In the miter box we saw off the ends of the wooden part. After that, its length became equal to 20 cm.
Step 3. Marking and preparation for drilling.
The holes for attaching the rope will be 8 mm and 25 mm in diameter. And they should be drilled so that you can draw a tangent to three circles, spaced 8 mm from the edge of the side of the workpiece. The center of the large hole is located 25 mm from the main side of the rail. With a pencil, mark the centers of all three future holes. So that when drilling around them, large chips do not form, tightly paste masking tape on the area of imaginary circles; mark the centers of the holes again.
Step 4. Drilling.
Having pressed our part to the board with clamps (for the same purpose for which masking tape was glued), we drill it, starting from places under small holes. After drilling, we tear off the adhesive tape and find that although the chips have formed, they are all small in size - and this is allowed.
Step 5. Planing and grinding.
To remove all small chips and defects of the bar, plan it on the machine. To smooth the ends of the holes we use sandpaper and a special device in the form of a wooden rod with a conical end to which a piece of sanding paper is attached. With the help of a manual grinder and a special grinding bar, we process the workpiece well.
Step 6. Painting.
A small piece of foam will help to color the wooden base of the puzzle with colorless varnish. Painted, hang it to dry completely.
Step 7. Heat treatment of the ends of the rope.
To smooth and strengthen the rope at its ends should use some kind of heating device. In this case, an electric soldering iron is used. In order to avoid leaving pieces of rope on the tip of the soldering iron, we put on it any suitable cylindrical object. We heat the soldering iron and scroll the ends of the rope on the nozzle, thereby giving them the desired shape.
Step 8. Tie the rope and install the ring.
We tie the finished rope at one end to any small hole in the wooden part. At the other free end, we pass the rope through the ring. Then we bandage the middle of the bar and then its second small hole.
The only thing left is small: you need to find a way out of the puzzle situation - move the ring to another free section of the rope without untying and cutting it. Let's give it to all lovers to think for themselves.

As you can see, the puzzle itself is small, and it does not take up much space either in a person’s bag, or on a bedside table, either in a desk drawer or in a jacket pocket.
