"He rides, and rides, and rides, and rides," read the famous German advertisement of the 1960s. This is about the Volkswagen Beetle, the famous Beetle, the most massive car in history, without revision of the basic design.
Exactly model this car and decided to make a master as a toy for children.

Step One: Material Preparation
From the bar, the master cuts out five planks of blanks for the car body + for the steering wheel, mirrors. The thickness of the blanks is as follows: the middle part is 13 mm (1 pc.), The seats are 20 mm (2 pc.), The outer blanks are 6 mm (2 pc.). On the blank draws a sketch of the machine.
Step Two: Cutting
Cuts workpieces according to the drawing. Drills holes and, with a band saw, cuts out window openings. Grinds workpieces.
Step Three: Gluing
Glue workpieces with seats to the middle part.
Drills holes for the wheels and then glues the outer workpieces.
Step Four: Trimming
Next, you need to crop the model, give the machine the desired shape.
Step Five: Wings
On the bar, draws the shape of the front and rear wings connected by a jumper.
Cuts wings.
Glues and adjusts to fit the body.
Step Six: Strip
The master glues a strip to the hood of the car. The strip must be cut, wet, bent along the radius of the hood. After drying, stick.
Seventh step: the roof
From a 7 mm plank cuts the roof. Sticks it. Grinds.
Step Eight: Bumpers
Cuts and glues the front and rear bumpers.
Step nine: headlights, mirrors
Cuts and glues headlights, taillights. Turns out mirrors. To install them, the master makes a hole with an awl. Applies glue and sticks.
Step Ten: Wheels
Wheels can be cut out of wood, or, as a master, can be made from wheels from a skateboard, having previously turned them. Then the wheels are glued into place.
The Beetle model is ready, you can cover it with a finishing composition or leave it like that.
