Today we will make not the simple, but the simplest scratching post from what remains after the repair.
It all started with the fact that we had a cat and it required various items, for example, a claw-tip. It is known that it costs an unpleasant 500-1000 rubles, although this is just a tightly wound rope around the board.
But even we will not do this, because in the factory conditions a special machine is engaged in this, and you will have to “pull through it one after another with“ terrible power ”and this is somehow sad. In fact, we need material that claws can easily cling to.
For this, an ordinary carpet is suitable, which may have remained after the repair.
But first things first.
We will need:
1. Materials
- plywood
- carpet
- fasteners

- drills and pitas

We find a suitable section of the wall. It is desirable that the claw point has at least two faces, so that the cat has the opportunity to grasp.
I chose a section of the wall with a u-shaped protrusion.
To calculate the height of the claw point, you need to put it next to the wall of the cat and mark it at the level of his head - this will be the lower limit.
Next, raise the cat by the front legs, so that it is fully extended and touches the lower legs of the floor. (+ 10 cm. Reserve for growth, if you still have a kitten)
Now, having learned all the sizes, mark the sides of the claw points on plywood and carpet and cut everything out.

Then we fasten the carpet to the plywood for short screws, taking into account the bending.
The heads of the screws will not be visible, and it will be very difficult to find them by touch.
3 step
We attach the scallop to the wall and fix it. You can like me, just on the screws and dowels to the wall, you can make a hanger and hang it all depends on your preferences.
That's it! The simplest claw-claw is ready, it looks, in my opinion, not very bad, and now "you can give His Majesty the cat for use."
