DIY bike repair stand

Greetings to all readers and masters. Today I want to contact the owners of bicycles and lovers led walks. Surely, every owner of a "pedal" vehicle knows that his "iron" horse needs to be regularly serviced and checked for serviceability of all nodes. So, you definitely need a stand, which can be assembled from a pallet and metal parts, which probably were lying around in your the garage or workshop.

Step 1
First, the author of this homemade prepared all the necessary materials.

Armed with a screwdriver, he screwed the flange to the pallet with screws.

Step 3

The author screwed a tube into it 120 cm long (the length is selected individually, depending on the dimensions of the bike). I screwed a knee on its free end and screwed another length of pipe 30 cm long into it.

Step 4
Since the clamp that will hold the bike on the stand is metal, so as not to damage the rack under the seat, the author fixed wooden lining on it. For their manufacture I used two bars. Put them together. Clamping with a clamp, I drilled a hole in the center that needs a diameter (it should match the diameter of the rack). Then, each pad was glued with epoxy to the clamp planes.

Step 5

Clamp with lining on the bottom of the pipe. The stand for repair and maintenance is ready.
