Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Lead sprocket
First of all, we have to install the drive sprocket on the motor shaft. Find the right details to translate this idea. You can pick up a nut directly under the motor shaft, you can also drill a thread in it. The main thing is that the star has as few beats as possible, otherwise the chain will fly off. We use a bicycle sprocket, small, to get a high torque, which we can transmit to the axle with pedals.
Step Two Engine installation
We make fasteners for the engine from a corner and a steel plate. The fasteners must be strong, since the torque will develop a high motor, this is the equivalent of a person’s legs. Securely mount the motor to the frame and after that you can install the chain.The transmission goes to the smallest driving sprocket of a bicycle, and traction is enough for riding.
Step Three Final touches and race
We attach a handbag to the bicycle frame and you can put a battery from a screwdriver in it, and if desired, you can put several batteries. Of course, the capacity of one such battery is small, but there is enough charge for a test run. The battery is connected using a “plug” from a screwdriver.
The author decided to control the motor with the help of a button from a screwdriver; he attached it to the steering wheel with nylon ties. Also, with the help of ties, we securely fix the wires on the bicycle frame.
The homemade product is ready, the motor power is more than enough, the bike easily starts off. Of course, rotating pedals will interfere with driving, but you can always install an asterisk with ratchet so that the motor works independently.
