The main element of plumbing in the bathroom is a faucet. During its operation, regardless of the quality of manufacture and many more conditions, it begins to malfunction, flows, does not hold, leaks, etc. Most often, one of its main components, the hose for the shower, fails. It consists of a metal corrugation, inside of which there is a rubber water (or plastic, or it is not clear what material) tube. The life of this hose depends mainly on the quality of this tube. In my opinion, this pipe is specially made from some kind of de..ma, so that it crashes faster and you change all this to a new hose assembly (which costs from 400 rubles). And this has nothing to do with water quality, temperature, pressure in water supply network and other factors. To repair the shower hose yourself do it yourself you don’t need any special knowledge and skills of a plumber. Below we consider how to make an eternal shower hose in almost 10 minutes.
Enumeration of tools and materials.

- a PVC tube (or silicone) in the diameter of the corrugation (in my case, 7 mm);

Step one. Dismantling and disassembling the shower hose.
The protective outer shell serves to prevent damage and stretching of the inner water pipe. At the ends of the water pipe are installed connecting fittings and union nuts.
Since the shower hose has the simplest design, there are few types of malfunctions. The most common failure is the failure of the internal water pipe. It can be painted, burst, dry.
Unscrew the shower hose nut at the mixer, then unscrew the watering can itself.
Using a knife (blunt side), we shift the plastic part of the hose from the brass fitting.
A water pipe is fitted to the brass fitting. More often the tube breaks from the side of the watering can.
In my case, the pipe is so dry that it crumbles in my hands.
Then we carry out the same operation on the other side of the hose.We take out the old tube and measure its length with a tape measure.
Second step. Assembling a shower hose with a new pipe.
We measure out a new transparent tube as long as the old one. We put the tube on the brass fitting.
Then we push a plastic sleeve with a metal ring onto the fitting with the tube. The coupling wears with force (so that it can be easier to walk, it can be moistened with water) and clamps the tube seat on the fitting very firmly - the tube will never come off.
We pass the tube into the armored hose and perform such actions on the other hand. The corrugation is screwed into a plastic sleeve to connect the entire structure.
Do not forget to put the gaskets on the fitting, fasten the watering can and you can connect the shower hose to the mixer.
Step three. Reconditioned hose test.
Actual tests showed that the repaired hose does not flow, its flexibility remains the same as before the repair. The entire repair took 10 minutes and 20 rubles (the cost of a transparent hose with a diameter of 7 mm). As a result, we got practically a hose that will work for a very long time (when I did such repairs to my relatives 5 years ago - not any leaks so far).
