On this site, and not only on this, there are many articles with the manufacture of all sorts of birdhouses, feeders, etc. Sometimes even whole battles broke out between the supporters of starlings and their opponents.
Making a house for a bat I came across for the first time. It turns out there are people who even build bats for bats.
Tools and materials:
-Wood;
-Fasteners;
-Drill;
- Electric saw;
- Milling cutter or chisel;
Step One: The Roof
The roof is one of the most important parts of the bat house. It keeps the inside dry and bats will cling to it. For convenience, the master, from the inside of the roof, cuts grooves with a milling cutter. Mice will cling to it.
Step Two: Back and Front Walls
The back wall is made in the form of a rectangle. Screwed to the roof.
Segmented front wall of two unequal parts. First, the master cuts and fastens most. It is approximately like 2/3 of the back wall. Then, at an angle to it, another workpiece is fixed. Between its lower part and the rear wall there remains an unclosed notch.
Step Three: Side Walls
Well, it remains to close the side walls and hang the house in a suitable place.
Here is such a house. Take care of the bats! -)))
