This mechanism is very simple to implement, and the possibility of its detection and neutralization is extremely low.

So, the author considers this mechanical device on the example of a door with a padlock. Of course, the first thing that a person who wants to get into the room will do is try to break the padlock, and if they fail, then simply cut it off or break the case.
However, even after removing the lock, the door remains closed. In order for the thief to spend even more time, you can hang several locks, creating the appearance of their functioning.
So what's the matter, why is the door still locked? And everything is very simple. The real locking mechanism opens in a completely different way, and is disguised as one of the self-tapping screws securing the handle to the door. In order to open the door, you need a small neodymium magnet, which can be hidden near the door. They are magnetized with a hat of cloves, and pulled out.
Then the nail rotates around its axis, and voila - the door opens!
So, a real locking mechanism can be represented as an ordinary bolt, and a bolt more serious. A carnation bent in the shape of the letter G just shifts the stock to the side.
In order to prevent the latch from locking in the extreme position, the author screwed an additional self-tapping screw into the door. There will be no such problems with the bolt.

As you already understood, it does not matter which lock is installed on the door. It’s just a sham for cheating a thief. And the key itself can be of various shapes, and is made of a piece of wire, which can even be left right next to the door. Anyway, only you yourself will know about the way to open the door. For example, it can be a small hole near the bolt, or one of the screws with which the lining is screwed to the surface of the door leaf.
There can be a great many variants of such locking mechanisms, and even for those who know about these simple methods, a large number of deceptive devices can also be made. For example, fasten several protruding screws near the latch that will cling to the key if it is not inserted at the correct angle. In addition, you can make a deadbolt with holes, clinging to which with a key, it will move to the side.
