DIY power tool shelf

Hello dear readers andthe inhabitants of our site!
Many of you have workshops and garages at your disposal, in which it is very important to keep order.
In this article, Decay, the author of YouTube 크래프트 Dekay’s Crafts YouTube channel, will tell you how he made a simple shelf for an electric tool, various drills, and with a charging station for batteries.

Materials
- sheet plywood
- PVC pipes
- PVA glue
- Wires, tee
- Wood screws
- Furniture hinges
- Second glue.

Instruments, used by the author.
- A circular saw
—  Clamps
—  Battery Neiler
—  Screwdriver
—  Forstner Drills
—  Japanese saw
—  Dremel
—  Electric jigsaw
- Ruler, tape measure, squares, pencil.

Manufacturing process.
First of all, the master cut the size of the blank for the details of the shelf from a sheet of plywood.

He polished all surfaces and ends of the workpieces with an orbital machine.

The left side is glued to the back wall. It is additionally fixed by a neiler.

Now the upper shelf and the left partition are glued and fixed.

Since the partition is placed with an offset, the attachment points of the neiler must first be marked.

Next, a small protruding shelf with a false wall is prepared.

Behind its rear part will be located wires from chargers, and an extension cord.

The tee is connected to a wire with a plug of the required length, and is screwed to the partition.

It remains only to glue and fix the remaining structural elements.

One of the chargers will be attached to the vertical wall with a pair of screws.

In order to remove the wire behind the false wall, you need to drill a hole in it with a Forstner drill or a bit of a slightly larger diameter. If desired, the hole can be closed with a plastic furniture plug.

The second charger will lie on the top shelf, as it does not have special wall mounts. And so that it does not fall, the master glues a small stop to the edge of the shelf.

Now you need to make a small cover for the left shelf, it will create a compartment for various small tools. Its two edges are cut off at an angle of 45 degrees using a circular saw.

A finger hole is drilled in the front of the lid to make it easy to open. Several rows of holes for cutters and crowns are also made.

Now, changing various drills, blind holes are made under them.

In order to make the hinges easier to fasten to the lid and the shelf, they are first glued to them with second glue.

A plastic pipe is great as a screwdriver holder.

At the bottom of such cylinders you need to make a cutout for the handle.

Since the master cut the parts manually, their edges came out uneven, you need to trim them on a circular saw.

Sharp edges are processed with a grinding nozzle for dremel.

These cylinders are fixed with screws to the bottom surface of the shelf.

In order to hang this shelf in its place, the master will apply the bar with a beveled angle of 45 degrees. The same bar is already attached to the wall.

Almost everything is ready, it remains only to carefully wind the wires, and connect them to the tee.

The shelf is very simply hung on the finished planks. So you can adjust its height, like shelves in the refrigerator.

Drills and cutters are inserted into the top of the lid, and under it you can put knives, tweezers, and other trifles.

The final touch, all the tools are put in their places, and the extension cord is connected to the outlet. Of course, the dimensions of such a shelf can be selected individually, as well as fix it in other ways.

I thank the author for the simple but useful idea of a workshop tool organizer!
