Perhaps some of you have a circular saw at your disposal, but still do not know some simple tricks.
In this article, Matthias, the author of the YouTube channel “Matthias random stuff”, will tell you about one of them, namely how to repeat the dimensions of a part without using measuring tools.
This method is quite simple, but requires the strict observance of safety precautions.

Execution process.
So, the author has two boards, one of which is shorter than the other. He needs to accurately trim the long board so that it becomes the same with the first. Even using the emphasis, and various rulers can be mistaken, because the saw blade has its own thickness.
Matthias places both boards next to each other on the carriage. In this case, the original workpiece should be closer to the saw blade. After that, he presses the edge of the board to the teeth of the saw blade.
On the other side, it is very easy to check the joint of two boards manually. It should match as accurately as possible.
Next, a cut is performed, starting from the edge of the original, short workpiece. If all of the following, untreated workpieces have the same length, then you can apply another trick, and only after you have cut it, move the longitudinal emphasis to its edge. Then the original workpiece is no longer required.
That's it! This method is also applicable for short parts, but do not forget about safety measures!
