Small, stylish stove with gas cylinder hob

I welcome all fans to craft, I propose to consider instructions for the manufacture of a small, stylish, economical and convenient stove do it yourself. Homemade the author collected from a gas cylinder, the stove has a hob on which to cook soup, boil a kettle, grill meat and more. The author mounted heat-resistant glass in the door so that it would be possible to observe the combustion process. Also, the furnace has a convenient "sewer" through which you can pour out the ashes, you just need to open the lower damper. You can take such a stove with you, going out to car, and in the country homemade will be useful. If the project interests you, I propose to study it in more detail!

Materials and tools used by the author:

Material List:
- a small gas cylinder;
- Sheet steel;
- a round pipe for a furnace sleeve;
- steel rods for legs;
- washers for persistent nickels;
- bolts and nuts;
- corner;
- heat resistant paint;
- heat resistant glass;
- steel grate (for grate).

Tool List:
- grinder;
- welding machine;
- tape measure, marker;
- drill.

Homemade manufacturing process:

Step one. We wash the balloon
First of all, we will prepare for the cylinder for cutting, release gas, and then completely turn off the valve, drain the contents away from the sources of fire. The author decided to rinse the bottle with water, lowering the hose to the very bottom. So the cylinder was washed for a while, after which it can be cut by draining the water.

Some masters simply cut the cylinder, filling all of it with water under the neck, in which case there will be nothing to explode. Never cut the cylinder without the safety measures described above, otherwise it will cause an explosion!

Step Two Cut holes
Next, we need to cut two holes in the cylinder, we cut one hole in the neck, this will be the furnace window, the furnace sleeve will be welded here in the form of a piece of steel pipe.

The author cut another hole on the side of the cylinder, through it fire and combustion products will rise to the hob, and only then will it go to the chimney.

Step Three Hob
We make the cooking plane, here we need sheet steel, if you want the stove to serve for a long time, we choose the steel thicker. A kind of box must be welded from metal, which is then welded over the hole, cut in the side of the container. The author made the stove quite large, it goes slightly beyond the back of the container, so it will be convenient to use homemade goods, there is a lot of space.

Step Four Furnace sleeve and legs
As a furnace sleeve, the author adapted a piece of a round pipe, we securely weld it to the furnace body so that there are no holes anywhere.
As for the legs, the author made of steel bars. So that the legs do not get stuck in the ground, we weld nickels to them. As nickels you can buy cheap steel washers of the desired diameter.

Step Five Smoke pipe
We make a chimney, on which we will put the chimney. The author made a pipe out of a steel plate. To bend the plate, you need to make cuts in it with a grinder, then the plate can be bent along these cuts. For marking, you can use the width of the ruler, some kind of bar and so on.
As a chimney, the author uses a metal pipe from a construction store for hoods.

Step Six Ashpit
Ash in the furnace will be collected in its lowest part, under the grate. To clean the furnace of ash, we weld a piece of steel pipe at the lowest point and make a damper for it. The same damper can be used as a blower, then the ash itself will wake up to the ground as it burns.

Seventh step. Fire door
We make the furnace door, the car decided to make a door with glass, so the stove looks more interesting and you do not need to open the door every time to see if there is firewood. The door is made of sheet steel; as a hinge, you can use a bolt with nuts. So that the thread does not rust, it can be coated with graphite grease.

Under the glass, the author made a frame from a narrow corner, it is impossible to fix the glass rigidly, since when it expands it will crack.

As for the air supply, the author drilled holes in the furnace body through which the necessary minimum air enters the furnace for stable combustion.

The project is completed on this, I hope you liked the homemade work, and you found useful thoughts for yourself. Good luck and creative inspiration, if you decide to repeat this. Do not forget to share your ideas and homemade things with us!

I wrote this freon is not combustible .. R 401 is off ... only 38 are on and that's it.
Author
they say there are chills and combustibles ... and you never know who poured something there, it’s better to wash than lose your head
Nice stove turned out.
Just do not understand what kind of fears about the explosion?
The cylinder from freon ... but this one does not burn and there is nothing to explode.
