First, holes must be drilled in their covers with a diameter of 9 mm for nipples. You need to start with the thinnest drill, gradually moving to a thick one. So the hole is easier to center.

The nipple itself is inserted into the hole, and tightened into it with the help of pliers. It is easier to do this if you screw the cork onto a bottle, because the force will be quite large. In addition, you need to hold the nipple by the rubber part, and not by the thread, otherwise you will damage it.
