Of course, it is easy to guess that the bookshelf in the proposed homemade The author of Instructables under the nickname dorxincandeland is the lowest book. But when you see this for the first time, the feeling that books levitate lasts about two seconds.
The book, which is to be converted into a regiment, has the following requirements:
- modern
- inexpensive
- not rare
- already read and uninteresting
- larger than the books that will be on it
- hardcover
You will also need: a corner, a knife, a ballpoint pen, two sizes of self-tapping screws, a screwdriver, tape measure, glue, a few more light books (the following photo does not show all of the above). From a translator: it is better to take two corners, and not one.
The wizard opens the book almost from the bottom, finds the middle of the page, makes a notch for the corner, puts it there and clamps it.
Cut a groove in the cover of the book so that the corner is in it, and the book adjoins the wall:
Screws the screws connecting the pages of the book among themselves:
And when they are screwed in - tightens the corner with another self-tapping screw (it is hard to see), glues the cover of the book, puts it under the load and waits.
A day goes by - you can place a book, turned into a shelf, on the wall. But the corner is still visible.
And now - no.
It remains a little. We must forget that you have such an item of interior. Learning not to look or pay attention to it. And then call someone to visit. Then everything is clear.
But say, for levitation you need some kind of feedback sensors there, some input of energy from outside ... Yes, you just need to be able to use optical illusions.
