Finally, the hands reached the final finish the garage, and saved up money for the winter. In the garage it was necessary to do the exterior and interior decoration, install the doors, fireplace, paint the steps of the stairs and install a visor above the door.
You can read the reports on the construction of the garage at the links: foundation, walls and roof, exterior finish, interior decoration.
We started by installing roof drains.
At the same time, snow retainers were installed on the roof.
At first, the workers gathered everything on earth, and then they installed it. I bought plums and snow retainers at the nearest hardware store inexpensively (Ogudnevo settlement).
Then we covered all the walls with Glims concrete contact (standard) and began to lay porcelain tiles on the base.
Porcelain tile was used by the Italian brand Arrezo (on the advice of a seller from Castorama in the city of Shchelkovo) with dimensions of 600x150x10 mm, so it was laid in 4 rows (height 600 mm) to protect the base from water.
Porcelain tiles were placed on tile glue (I don’t remember the brand, but something cheaper). I drove in my car.
After laying the porcelain tiles on the back wall and on the sides, they were painted with facade paint with marble chips, very resistant to atmospheric precipitation (on the advice of a seller from Leroy to Pushkino, although expensive!), And finally installed plums, under which barrels bought. In order not to load the blind area, the barrels were installed separately on the paving slabs that remained from the blind area lying on sand cushions from last year.
Porcelain tile was also laid around the front door.
Then they took up the facade itself. Porcelain tile was also placed around the gate, and the facade was painted.
It turned out a little expensive, but - it looks.
. Then we went through the putty in the corners and painted again the corners of the garage.
I welded the visor for the front door last year, so I could only install it. It was fastened to the through M10 studs with nuts and washers in five places - 3 on the top and 2 on the bottom.
For interior decoration, the following paints were used.
On the advice of his wife, they decided that the walls and ceiling should be pistachio-colored, the floor should be light gray, and the window, window sill and platbands should be white.
Then the turn came to the fireplace. The Brandenburg fireplace is mounted on a metal sheet lined with heat insulating material. By the way, a stovetop is provided in the fireplace.
From the sides the walls are simply sewn with metal sheets.
Where the stainless steel pipe came out, porcelain tile was laid.
A choke is provided in the pipe. Outside, the pipe is firmly attached to the roof with a 20x20x1.5 mm pipe.
The first test fireplace insert showed that the draft was excellent.
The window outside was also lined with porcelain stoneware,
the windowsill and platbands are installed inside and painted white.
The window sill is made of a furniture board 22 mm thick, platbands - from a wooden corner 40x40 mm.
Finally, the doors arrived (my most expensive purchase is 33048 rubles with delivery!). Door leafs were made to order in the Framer company from pine and faced with parallel veneer. The canvas size is 1950x800x40 mm. Boxes and platbands are made of MDF and are also veneered. All the cuts for the fittings are made in the factory way, so installing the doors was not difficult.
The outer door is installed with a key, the inner one is simply with a latch.
In general, I spent almost 200,000 rubles on the entire finish. - of which 75,000 rubles. paid workers and about 125,000 rubles. spent on materials.
It remains only to make an electrician, but this is after a preliminary arrangement of furniture, although the main wiring can already be done.
