A flashlight in some cases may be even more convenient than a headlamp. There are many ways to install a flashlight on a watch strap, but the author of Instructables under the nickname funtogether offers one more.
It turns out that there are watchbands fastened with Velcro. The master takes a watch with such a strap:
And any fairly miniature flashlight. Better, of course, rechargeable, but this is not necessary. It is necessary that it has either a latching switch or a microcontroller to switch modes with short presses of a button. In general, so that the button does not need to be held pressed continuously.
But the master comes across a flashlight with a built-in opener that takes up space. After making sure that no conductors pass through it inside the case, the master cuts it off. It turns out compactly:
Of course, it is better to close the gap resulting from this in order to at least slightly improve splash protection. From the side of the flashlight, opposite the switch, the master glues that part of the Velcro on which the hooks are located on its body:
Even when the watch strap is fastened, a fairly large part of the Velcro, on which the fibers are located, remains open. There is a master and attaches a flashlight:

It remains to experiment with the location and angle of rotation of the lamp. If the watch strap does not have Velcro, the part on which the fibers are located can be glued to it. In the same way, you can attach a flashlight to a pencil, pen, glasses (such advice was in the journal "Science and Life"), any instrument.
