Trying to make CNC machines for himself, I leafed through and reviewed many sites and forums.
He made his first attempts on furniture rails and aluminum profiles. I tested the work of the first assembly on a piece of paper with a pen.
I wore a lot of paper. The first drawing with the head of Lenin still hangs on the wall.
Having figured out how it works and having assembled more than one CNC machine for different needs, he sorted his research into spare parts for other needs.
And recently I was making a gift to a friend and I wanted not as usual a postcard, but something like that. And I had to draw a greeting card on the CNC milling cutter by screwing a pen instead of a spindle. And while a masterpiece was being drawn on a machine tool, it visited me ...... (enter what you need). And finding in the storerooms what was sketched in Compass drawing.
Since the 3D printer has already been invented before, and not one, it sealed parts on it:
While setting up and drawing probes, the carriage with the pen holder was redone 4 times.
When I gathered it all to the heap and having drawn a little, I decided to collect another one with all the corrections. And without hesitation, a CoPET plastic bobbin was bought and a new machine was printed:
