I welcome all fans to craft, I propose to consider instructions for making an unusual hookah do it yourself. The author used available materials for assembly, these are parts for plumbing, a glass bottle, a manometer and more. Homemade equipped with a copper coil that allows you to cool the smoke, and with it the homemade product looks more interesting. As an interesting addition, the author put a redone manometer, now it shows not only increased pressure, but also “vacuum” (the degree of vacuum when the smoke is drawn in). Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Base and coil
The first step is to make a coil. Its author twisted from a copper tube. The diameter of the spiral is selected depending on the size of the bottle used. We solder the fittings for connecting the hose to the ends of the pipe, as well as the fitting for connecting the coil to the hookah.
We also make the basis, the author used a large brass water fitting, the bottom was sealed with a piece of sheet copper. If desired, the coil can be soldered to the base.
Step Two Hookah body
We assemble the body of the hookah, here the author used brass plumbing tees and other parts for the water supply. A copper part in the form of a cone is installed on the structure; it is needed to install this entire structure on the bottle. All nodes must be well soldered, everything must be airtight.
We also make a tube that will be immersed in a bottle; the author has it in brass. We solder the corresponding fitting (fitting) to the end of the tube to attach it to the hookah. At the end of the part, it remains to rinse well and clean from flux.
Step Three Pressure gauge and assembly of the main part
The highlight of the project is the pressure gauge, its author disassembled and reconfigured so that it also showed a vacuum. As a result, when the smoke is drawn in, the arrow will bow to the left on the device. When blowing a hookah, the arrow will bow to the right, showing the degree of increased pressure. On the home scale, the author installed a paper, stylized as steampunk, it can be printed on a printer. We use another tee and put the pressure gauge in its place.
In a cone-shaped part, the author put a rubber insert, which will allow the bottle to be sealed.
Step Four Purge valve
The hookah has a purge valve, it consists of an angular connection with the ball inside. When you inhale the ball closes the channel, and when blowing the ball rises and releases smoke. A purge is needed in order to cool the hookah or in order to expel overheated, bitter smoke.
Step Five Assembly and testing
We put a pipe in the hookah, which is immersed in the water poured into the bottle. On the top of this tube is a smoking bowl. By the way, such a bowl can be made of a steel shower head. On top of the bowl we stretch the foil and put coal for a hookah.
We connect the shower hose to the coil, and you can screw a copper pipe to the hose through which smoke will be inhaled. We kindle a hookah, not forgetting to pour water into the bottle. Everything works well, and most importantly, interesting.
