Mobile bar table

I have long wanted to buy myself a bar table for receiving guests. At the exhibition of furniture I saw something similar, but he did not meet all the requirements: to freely ride around the apartment and be spacious so that you could put both drinks and snacks. He began to develop himself - and that's what happened.

The design of the table is quite simple. The basis is two round panels 1 and stand 3made of furniture pine shield 18mm thick.

Detail 4 serves for reliable fastening of a cover to a rack.

For this in a rack 3 a mating groove is cut in the center so that the part 4 tightly sat on the rack, creating a flat platform for landing lids. Rack 3 and detail 4 connect to PVA glue.
Next, two shelves are cut 2mounted on racks 5 and 6.

Now about the assembly. Detail first 4 sticks to the stand 3 and the lid is fixed on dowels ø10x30mm, then shelves are also assembled on dowels 2 and racks 5 and 6, then these assemblies are attached to the rack 3. Lastly, the entire structure is installed on the base using screws of the “confirm” type ø7x50mm. In conclusion, 4 rollers 65mm high are fixed on the screws ø3.5x18mm from the bottom of the base. The whole structure is made of furniture pine shield 18 mm thick. The casters can be supplied with clips to fix the table in one place.

The table is finished with rounding, grinding, etching with “Italian walnut” and coating with furniture lacquer.
