A feature of this vertical wind turbine is the variable angle of the blades depending on the wind speed and, accordingly, the speed of its rotation. The purpose of this design is to start a wind turbine even in light winds and to reduce the load in strong winds.
The master made the upper and lower plates on a polycarbonate CNC machine.
The hinges that connect the upper and lower blades are printed on a 3D printer.
Couplings are attached to the plates in the center. A threaded rod passes through them. Ideally, the rod should be square. Couplings are also printed.
The blades have, on the one hand, a waveform and are also printed on a 3D printer.
