To make such a saw track, it is necessary to make about 20 - 25 cm in height. Almost any tree can be sawn into circles, but it is better to choose hard breeds, so they last much longer. Oak, larch are ideal, they say its wood is little susceptible to decay.
Before laying pre-prepared saw cuts, they need to be better passed by any available wood preservative and dried. And yet, it is very desirable to cover the part facing the ground with tar - this will further extend the life of our track.
Under the path, we definitely make a pillow out of sand - we remove the soil to a height of saw cuts + a reserve of 5-10 cm, cover it with sand and compact it well.
Next, we arrange the prepared cuts along the entire surface of the track, alternating large and small, filling the gaps with suitable sizes.
After laying the track, we fill the cracks between the saw cuts with small pebbles and gravel, especially small ones can be filled with river sand. Do not forget to make a fantasy!
