We grow champignons on our own!

Champignon - mushrooms, which have an unsurpassed taste and usefulness, are not in vain so expensive. The presence of vitamins, amino acids, phosphorus, makes them a very popular product. But prices for champignons sometimes bite our wallet. Or maybe try to grow these mushrooms yourself? And let's try!

Let's start by looking for a place to grow a plantation. For this, greenhouses, cellars, and possibly a large shed with ventilation are quite suitable. Ventilation is a prerequisite for a mushroom growing place.

Now let's prepare the right ground. And so, take 100 kilograms of straw, plus 200 kg of manure, and five kilograms of alabaster. Next we need to make compost by forming a shoulder. To do this, you need to lay straw and manure on the soil covered with a film in layers. All this must be properly compacted and soaked with water. It is enough to make 4-5 layers. After 5-7 days, the collar will start to warm up. Just then it should be watered, at least twice a day. Next, shake the laid out layers. Pour alabaster on top and mix all the layers with a pitchfork, slightly moistening them. During the period of preparation of the soil, you will need to do 3 more interruptions. As a rule, it takes a month to prepare the kidney.

Now we need to bring the mycelium into the previously prepared soil. The temperature in the room where the mushrooms are grown should be between 19-23 ° C. The mushroom picker will germinate for 15-20 days, and only after that you will notice a white coating, which will need to be sprinkled with ordinary greenhouse soil, slightly moistening it.

The very first champignons will grow in 40-50 days, the vegetative period will last 2-3 months. Tear off the mushrooms immediately, preventing them from aging, so as not to deplete the mycelium. Proper care will give you the opportunity to collect up to 50 kg of mushrooms per season, and this is only from one bed.

As you understand, there is nothing complicated in growing champignons, and the time spent on this procedure will pay for itself in one season.
