So I decided to tell you how to plant grape seedlings in spring.
The first thing you need to decide on the place.
Grapes are very fond of the sun, so try to choose the site most illuminated by the sun during daylight hours!
Now we dig a hole. I do about 40-50 cm on each side and also in depth. If the ground is clean, well, if it is littered with grass, then it is advisable to select all the roots.
Now in the hole I pour a 5-7 liter bucket of humus
And the same amount of sand
We take a shovel and mix all the contents of our hole well.
Pour 2 buckets of water and wait until everything is thoroughly soaked.
So we have prepared our hole, now we proceed directly to planting a seedling.
If the root system is poorly developed, you can add soil so that your seedling is not too deep.
If the roots are well developed, then we place the seedling directly into our hole.
Immediately you need to decide where you will have trellis, as this plays an important role when planting.
We expose the seedling so that it is tilted towards your future trellis and sprinkle with earth.
Thoroughly compact the earth around the seedling.
Mulch the hole around the seedling with humus.
And pour 1 bucket of water.
So we planted our grapes.
If you plan to plant not 1 bush, but a row, as I do, then you need to consider that the distance between the bushes should be at least 2 meters. It can be more, depending on the grape variety.
Well, if you want to make a whole vineyard, then you need to take into account that the distance between the rows should be at least 3 meters.
