Cookware
The simplest DIY speaker for a smartphone can be found in any kitchen and is a suitable sized bowl, vase or bowl. Do not underestimate the size and material of the dishes for the sound of the device. Products made of bamboo, plastic, glass or ceramic, with different thicknesses and sizes give so different audio effects that any built-in software equalizer has a rest. Experimenting with different capacities, you can find the most suitable sound for you. As for the gain, it is much better when the speaker is directed towards the bottom of the bowl.
Journal
No less interesting results can be obtained from the use of a magazine twisted into a tube. Fasten the structure with rubber bands, paper clips or glue, then cut the telephone slot in the middle approximately. Insert it so that the speaker of the phone is inside the magazine. The sounds produced by such a device cannot boast of excessive volume, but they acquire a certain volume and even nobility, thanks to the muffling of too high notes made by the squeaker of the phone.
Toilet paper and plastic cups
The next example of constructing a man-made speaker will be the most difficult, since it consists of as many as three parts. We will need one toilet roll roll and two plastic cups. Having assembled the construction in such a way as shown in the photo, we get a rather loud, but not very saturated, slightly “plastic” sound. However, experimenting with different types of plastic dishes and their location on the basis, you can achieve quite interesting results.
Chips packaging
This design is unstable, so you have to take care of its fixation. Despite its appearance, this device has good sound reinforcing capabilities and good quality. You can also significantly change it by trying various fillers for a sound pipe, such as toilet paper.
Based on the proposed methods of amplifying sound vibrations and supplementing them with your inventions, you can not only find your own unique design of a telephone speaker, but also spend time with interest. Experiment, invent, share your findings in the comments!
