First we need to find the right neck for our future barbell. Reinforcement may be ideal for him: we cut off about 2 meters of thick reinforcement.
Next, we clean it from dust, dirt, rust, etc. (In order not to injure your hands when lifting the bar and so that it does not hurt to lift the bar, you must wrap the bar with insulating tape (preferably not in one layer).

Our neck is ready!
Now you need to start making pancakes.
For this we need bottles (2-2.5 liters) and sand.
To make a “pancake” you need to fill the bottles with sand and compact the sand in the bottles. To keep the bottles on the neck well, it is necessary to fill with sand 4 bottles on each side of the neck (that is, we will need a total of 8 bottles).
After the bottles are filled with sand and well tamped, you can proceed to fasten the bottles to the bar.
To do this, we need ordinary tape: we put the bottles so that the neck is in the middle of these 4 bottles and tightly rewind the bottles with tape, grabbing the neck itself. The same thing needs to be done on the other side of the neck. Scotch do not spare !!! For even more durable fastening, you can use wire in addition to adhesive tape!
The bar is ready !!!
