You came fishing in a new and unfamiliar place and suddenly, from the locals, you find out that there are a lot of crayfish in these places, and you, much to the chagrin, didn’t take any crayfish. How to get out of this situation? I propose to make rakolovka from improvised items - plastic bottles.
To make rakolovki from plastic bottles, we need: directly, the bottles themselves, two pieces of five liters and one liter or one and a half.
Of the tools, you will need: a construction or office knife, an awl, a fishing line three millimeters thick.
At the first stage of the manufacture of the beaker, we will make, from bottles, a blank for it. To do this, cut off the bottom and neck of a liter bottle so that a cylinder is obtained.
To make the plastic easier to cut, heat the blade of the knife on the fire of a gas stove. In the same way, we cut off, at one of the five-liter windows, the bottom, without touching the neck, and at the other five-liter, on the contrary, the neck, without touching the bottom.
Continuing what we started, cut the neck of the five-liter so that the diameter of the cut was equal to the diameter of the cut of a liter bottle.
To more accurately carry out this operation, you can, using the "liter" cylinder, make markings on the neck of a five-liter.
The first part of the work is completed - proceed to the second stage. With an awl we pierce holes around the entire circumference of one of the ends of the "liter" cylinder, at a distance of about one and a half centimeters from each other. To make the task easier, place a wooden block under the pierced surface.
Do the same operation around all sections of five-liter bottles.
Next, fishing line, threading it alternately into the holes made around the circumferences of the slices of liter and five-liter bottles, we sew them together.
Now we are doing the same operation, and with five-liter ones, we sew them together, with cut edges to each other.
The main part is finished, it remains to "fluff" the edge of the liter cylinder and bend the fluff inside it.
We cut through the “body” of the entire construction of the hole one centimeter in size, so that the crushing is easier to sink.
We tie a rope or telephone cable to it, threading it into one of the cut out holes.
The device is ready. The principle of operation of rakolovka is as follows - as you know, crayfish feed on carrion, therefore, having arrived at the place of fishing, we put rotten chicken leg inside a rakolovka, a few heavier stones and throw the rakolovka into water. To the smell of rotten meat, crayfish, sewn to the rakolovka through a liter cylinder, they crawl into it and cannot crawl back out - the edge bent inward prevents them from doing this. That's all, I wish you good fishing.
