The whole process of work took me about 7 hours.
Initially, we make small sketches of our future motorcycle. Then we proceed to the assembly of the "skeleton" of our motorcycle, namely the frame. I decided to make a frame out of copper wire, because copper is a rather strong material, and also products made of it look very beautiful. And he added a spring-loaded saddle to the received frame:
After assembling the frame, we proceed to assembling the wheels, I decided to make the basis of the disks from pancake fasteners from the computer’s hard drives, I also picked up a pair of gears and passics in size:
Next, go to the rear wing, for this I took a small copper plate. I got such a copper wing.
Then, from the same plate, by cutting and small soldering made a fuel tank.
Then he made the front wheel fork out of wire, made a steering wheel out of a thinner wire, and rolled up springs from an even thinner wire. He put it all together and hung the necessary parts in their place.
Then we begin to engage in the manufacture of the engine, over it I had to rack my brains for more than one hour, but in the end I found a wire of a suitable size and proceeded to turning and knocking out the cylinders. (Instead of wire, you can use tin solder, it is softer)
Then he adapted the gearbox to the engine, created a similar drawing of the real ones on the cylinders (made ribbing) and added the wiring, which in the original is connected to the spark plugs.
He made an exhaust system from wire and small tubes.
Then he covered the saddle with a leatherette. Using the same leatherette, made a simple wardrobe trunk.
And then he assembled everything from a plastic cylinder and, using transparent plastic, made a headlight. Modified the steering wheel by making rear-view mirrors and small handles.
And the last step is painting. To do this, I took the usual nail polish, it lays on the metal quite well and dries quickly.
Here are some photos of the finished motorcycle:
By the way, this is my first modeling experience. And I can say that this activity is very exciting, although not so simple. And I already presented my motorcycle to a friend, he was very happy. By the way, this is a very good gift option for motorbike enthusiasts or very suitable for bikers.
