During the summer, you have to repeatedly feed the plants with infusions of herbs, mullein, chicken manure or solutions of mineral fertilizers. In this case, a certain amount of solution must be poured into a certain place, not too close and not too far from the root of the plant. It is extremely undesirable to pour solution over the leaves.
Thanks to the simplest device, I no longer have to get to the most inaccessible places to bring the solution to the right place without spilling it. The device is made of available materials. I take a 1.5-2-liter plastic bottle and turn it into a funnel, cutting off the bottom. I connect it with a thick-walled hose to a half-meter plastic tube (you can use an aluminum ski pole). It turns out something like a funnel with a long toe. I put the end of the tube in an inaccessible place, for example, in the center of the prickly bush of gooseberry, in the thickets of zucchini, cucumber, under a bush of cabbage, that is, where you can not carefully pour the ladle of mortar. I pour the solution into the funnel, and it enters the right place.
On loams, the soil is dense, and the spilled liquid spreads over the surface. Therefore, I rigidly attached 2 steel five-millimeter wires with sharpened ends to the end of the tube. These ripper teeth protrude 4 cm beyond the pipe. Now, before pouring the liquid, I loosen the surface of the place where the solution is intended to be poured. I put the tube in the right place so that the teeth of the cultivator enter the soil and it clogs the end of the tube. I scoop a solution from a bucket with a ladle and pour it into a funnel. Further, the matter of technology is to lightly move the tube, and the solution gets to the right place without spreading. If you need to feed a lot of plants and often have to bend to a bucket with a solution, I use a fishing bucket cannon (in it fishermen carry live bait). It is with a belt, you can put it over your shoulder on a waterproof apron.
