Openwork beer can candlestick

How to make an original openwork candlestick from a beer jar?

Craft it turns out beautiful, easy, but the work with it is painstaking. At the same time, there are no expenses, except for an empty beer can and time spent. Of the tools, only tailor's scissors, a knife and a slotted screwdriver (you can make a semblance of it yourself). First, with a sharp knife, cut off the neck of the jar.

We make markings on the wall of the jar to obtain 64 stripes after cutting it.

To make all the strips smooth and free of burrs, the scissors must be long and sharp
[

We divide all the strips into 8 sectors.

To curl the ends of the strips and create openwork use a slotted screwdriver

From every 8 strips you need to get such a picture. In total, there will also be 8 of them along the perimeter.

Start to pattern

Fixing the details of the pattern can be done with glue, thin wire and narrow strips of metal beer cans (respectively another). Install a candle. Big here is not very suitable. Better to use standard and short

Let there be light!
