Headphones from a computer or sound systems become unusable, which happens quite often, and repairing them is more expensive. It’s easier to buy new ones. And what can be done from the old?
I suggest not to throw it away. If you sometimes work with noisy instruments, like a hammer drill, then these headphones can be used to make excellent silencers of extraneous sounds. To work, you will need a piece of felt or foam rubber, a piece of fabric with a size slightly larger than the area of 2 headphones.
Of the tools - a screwdriver, scissors and glue
First you need to remove all “offal” from the headphone along with the wires
Putting the earphones on the foam or felt-felt pen, circle them
Cut two stubs
From thin decorative fabric cut circles
Coat the caps with glue
Glue the plugs by pulling the fabric tight
Now put the received silencers on the glue instead of the phones. You can use it.
By the way, they do a good job of saving both grouchy relatives and noisy new settlers in the neighborhood: wink:
