As the name says, the stool will cost us only $ 3. To make it, you need three wooden pins 60 cm long and 4 cm in diameter (available for $ 2), one hinge bolt, one regular bolt — both with washers and nuts, three separate washers and three wood screws (cost only a dollar). We will also need a drill and a screwdriver and two drills - one for 6 mm and the other for 1 mm, and finally fabric for the seat (it is advised to use leather that can be cut from an old boot).
First of all, we need to prepare the wooden legs. To do this, measure exactly 25 cm from the edge, after which we make one through hole in each of the legs.
Now in the upper end of each bar we need to drill one hole exactly in the middle with a small drill. Later we have to fix the seat of our high chair here.
Now let's move on to making the seat. Cut out an isosceles triangle from the skin. The length of each side should be equal to 25-26 cm. Cut off the resulting triangle with scissors. After that, all the details of the homemade stool are ready. Now you can proceed to its assembly.
We insert a long bolt into the through hole of one of the legs and put a loop on the bolt, after which we insert the second leg into the bolt and tighten the nut.
We put the third leg of our folding stool on the loop bolt and tighten the next nut. The excess parts of the nuts are cut off with a hacksaw.
As a next step, we need to attach the seat to the legs so that each corner touches one of them, put the screws in the washers and screw the screwdriver into the holes that we made before.
A do-it-yourself folding chair for just three dollars is actually ready. Now you can safely go fishing, hunting, go hiking in the mountains or make repairs, without fear of staining the furniture chairs.
