Radiator Fencing

Why is kindergarten breathing particleboard emissions harmful, and where is the whole cabinet furniture from chipboard, please breathe in health. Well, one way or another, we signed the acts, and we put up shields. And what to do, chipboard is harmful, plywood is glued to the same adhesives. It is hardly advisable to make rack shields and close cast-iron ribs with wooden ones.

The decision to choose the material for the shields is left to you. I’ll tell you about fastening shields. We fastened them like that. A ring or just a nut was welded onto a strip of metal (Fig. 36). The strip was attached to the shield with screws. Metal pins were driven into the wall, the ends of which were bent upward by 90 °. Subsequently, a shield was hung on the pins, which can be removed at any time and in order to wash or paint the radiators.

On shields, we usually drilled large holes with a diameter of 20 mm in the form of rhombuses, circles, etc. (Although air is exchanged as shown in the figure, and openings are not necessary.) Then we covered the shields with stain and varnish. It turned out pretty well. The height of the shields should be chosen so as to ensure heat exchange of the air. This occurs when there is a gap of at least 10 cm for air passage. The length of the panels is arbitrary, they can be short, covering only the radiator, or long, in the whole room, hiding the entire heating system.
