Books always remain valuable even today, when technological progress allows you to read your favorite literature on the screens of computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets or the so-called readers. Books remain relevant, and the number of fans of printed literature does not decrease at all. Many of us remember the libraries of our grandparents who so carefully collected books and, as a rule, read them all, despite the fact that all the literature was placed on ten or even twenty shelves.
Since we are talking about shelves, let's look at them, or rather their structure: rectangular lines, heavy cabinets - all this is so boring that sometimes you don’t want to come close. But what if you make your own shelf, which will have an original look and look very interesting in any interior?

So, in this material we will consider a method of manufacturing a flexible shelf in home conditions.
For this we need:
- Two console holders for shelves;
- One board from a glued bar of the same thickness as the holders;
- Nylon rope;
- metal washers;
- Hardware;
- Saw;
- drill
- And a lighter.
We figured out the necessary materials and tools. Now you can start manufacturing our shelves.
We take a handsaw and divide the board into 13 bars. 2 bars should have a width of 6 cm, and 11 - 5 cm.
The bars are ready, now you need to make through holes on them in the side parts. Exclusively all openings should have the same diameter and the same distance from the edges of the bars.
Next, take a nylon thread and make two pieces of the same length. After that, we tie it with a thread from one end and melt a knot with a lighter for greater strength, after which we push them through the bars. Washers in this case are used as prefixes. Larger bars should be marginal. When all the bars are interconnected by threads, you can tie the other end with a knot and melt with a lighter.
The shelf is ready. It remains only to drill fasteners on the wall and attach to them the edge, that is, wide bars. For greater beauty, the bars before installation can be varnished for of furniture.
